The Last Supper - new art for Lent

This was sent from The Friends of St Michaels:

"An exhibition in a tiny former shepherds’ church on the Welsh borders portrays 14 individual perspectives of the scriptural sequence.  The highlight is a 12-foot-long installation which fills the chancel; a dining-table, laid with a carafe, wine cups, bread, and plates. It is made of plaster, symbolically white, and is Charles MacCarthy's sculpture, 'That they all may be one'.

Artists exhibiting are:- Julienne Braham, Nick Bush, Simon Dorrell, Lois Hopwood, Xavier Hughes, Charles MacCarthy, Dan MacCarthy, Tania Mosse, Andrea Mclean, Alison Neal, Susannah Royle, Anthea Stilwell, Peter Stilwell and Jane Tudge. All the pictures are for sale. The sales commission will support the charity of St Michael’s Hospice. There is a catalogue available with a forward by the art historian, Frances Spalding.

St Michael's Church, Discoed, near Presteigne, LD8 2NW"

The exhibition began on February 9th, and continues until April 9th.
